Tom Holland’s debut as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War was a huge success, despite the fact that he really was only there for two scenes. But next year he gets to lead his own film with a huge cast – no seriously, this cast just doesn’t want to stop growing! – in Spider-Man: Homecoming. That movie is busy shooting right now, and thanks to the folks over at Looper we have our first look at Holland in costume for this film.

According to reports, this scene apparently sees Holland’s Peter Parker and his classmates on a field trip to Washington DC when something goes wrong prompting the young hero to break out his mask and get to web-slinging. The scene will assumedly be some kind of highway chase – a first for any of the Spider-Man films – which will see Spidey jump onto some kind of construction truck. And I think it’s safe to assume that the final movie will see Spidey bounce around without the need of a blue trampoline and a couple of cables.

One thing to note is that Holland’s costume has not changed since we last saw it in Civil War, but if that movie’s post-credits scenes hints are to be believed, there’s a lot of hidden Tony Stark tech to be found on it. You can check out all the set pics over on Looper.

Spider-Man: Homecoming was directed by Jon Watts (Cop Car) and also stars Michael Keaton as the film’s main villain – rumoured to be the Vulture – Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, and Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark/Iron Man. Along with those known roles you also have *DEEP BREATH* Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Kenneth Choi, Donald Glover, Logan Marshall Green, Martin Starr, Hannibal Buress, Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., J.J. Totah, Abraham Attah, Michael Mando and Bokeem Woodbine. *GASP* It is scheduled for release on July 7, 2017.
