It seems like it was just yesterday when Kervyn asked Cosmic Ghost rider co-creator Donny Cates just how the heck he managed to dream up the wackiest incarnation of the Spirit of Vengeance…or just over a week to be precise but hey I needed something to insert an obligatory link into this post because I’m feeling lazy. ANYWAY!

This week sees the return of not just one but two Ghost Riders: The original flaming skull-faced demon Johnny Blaze and the OG Hell’s Angel for many a kid raised in the 1990s, Danny Ketch! A new series kicks off, this time manned by Ed Brisson and Aaron Kuder that goes for a little of the Supernatural charm in a brand new tale of damnation. Here’s a sneak peek at it, to rev your throttle for:

The Brothers Ghost Rider are back! Johnny Blaze ain’t just the king of Hell—he’s the warden too. He’s the first line of defense between the demonic hordes trying to escape the joint and the lords of other hells making a play for his throne and all the power that comes with it – including a certain evil queen from his past! Meanwhile, Danny Ketch never wanted to be a Ghost Rider. Now that his brother’s in charge downstairs, Ketch must take on the duty of Earth’s Spirit of Vengeance full-time—no matter how much he’d rather be doing anything else…

I’m down for that! If there’s one thing I’ve been keen to see back in the Marvel Universe, it’s the revival of the supernatural side of that universe.
