Well hello, everyone. Firstly a quick thank you to all you awesome people for making our last screening of The Infiltator so great. I have received many positive reviews from you (if you haven’t sent one in you still have some time) and it sounds like it was a pretty decent film. Moving away from busting drug cartels to people who really should know better than to investigate ghost stories we have a new horror screening for you! This time it is Blair Witch, the surprise new film in the series of found film footage horror movies that redefined the genre. Well, the first one did, we don’t talk about Book of Shadows.

You and a friend stand the chance of suffering new nightmares in both Johannesburg and Cape Town. All you need to do is fill in the form below, with a valid South African email address, and you could win a soft drink, popcorn, and a range of new phobias!

Have a watch of the trailer to get into the… spirit of things:

College students enter the Black Hills Forest in Maryland to see if the disappearance of James’ sister is connected to the Blair Witch. As night falls, the students realize the legend is all too real after they are visited by a menacing presence.

Damn that looks awesome! If only Trevor could go investigate a real ghost….

I have been an avid fan of movies ever since I discovered Santa Clause wasn't real, a day marked in my memory by my first viewing of It's a Wonderful Life, which wasn't so wonderful that day. Since then I've watched thousands of movies and even fooled my parents into putting me through uni to get a degree in the subject. I first started writing as a journalist for The South African Newspaper before moving onto communications for an NGO trying to save the planet. Unfortunately my recommendations to the CEO that we should all don rings imbued with the powers of earth, fire, wind, water and HEART went unheard. Now I pretend the end isn't nigh by hiding in movies.
