The Captain America: Civil War Dossiers – Hawkeye

2 min read

Are you up for this? Are you? Look, I just need to know cause the city is flying. Ok, look, the city is flying, we’re fighting an army of robots, and I have a bow and arrow. None of this makes sense.

Between green rage monsters and super-soldiers, you can always count on at least one Avenger to be the voice of reason in a world that stopped making sense a long time ago when an Asgardian trickster god decided to invade our realms. And that man is the sharpshooting master of the oldest ranged weapon in human history, Clint Barton AKA Hawkeye.

While Clint Barton possesses no known superhuman abilities, his skill with the bow and arrow borders on the impossible. The finest archer alive, Barton is capable of using any archery weapon ever created, firing off arrows with perfect accuracy over incredible distances. As a former black ops member, Barton is also an expert assassin, while his tactical skills allow him to read a battlefield to the point that he can hit targets without even seeing them.

Barton isn’t afraid to use firearms either, having fallen back to pistols in the past to make up for any archery shortcomings.

  • Expert Archer
  • Master Marksman
  • Master Assassin
  • Expert Acrobat
  • Expert Martial Artist
  • Expert Tactician
  • Expert Pilot
  • Specialised quiver of trick arrows

As a SHIELD Agent, Barton also possesses excellent hand to hand combat skills, battling the talented Black Widow on even ground and multiple Chitauri footsoldiers during the battle of New York. In addition to all of that, Barton is also remarkably agile, and in peak physical condition that augments his own extraordinary archery skills.

  • Conventional Arrows
  • Taser Arrows
  • Melter Arrows
  • Pulse Arrows
  • Explosive Arrows
  • Grappling Hook Arrows
  • Hacker Arrows
  • Burst Shot Arrows

He may just be a guy who faces world-ending threats with just a bow and arrow, but Hawkeye is still one Avenger that you can always count on.
