Early Buzz – TUSK is going to be crazy, creepy and F-ed up

After months of teasing, production and marketing, Kevin Smith’s latest movie, Tusk, finally premiered last night at the Toronto International Film Festival. Reaction so far has been mixed, with some saying that the film veers off into comedy quickly, while others praise the acting within it. But there’s one thing that everybody who saw the film can agree on: Tusk is f***ed man.

Wicked. Tusk certainly seems like a completely mental movie, despite several foibles apparently, the kind of cult horror that will most likely be shown at screenings for years to come. If you’re wondering what all this #WalrusYes fuss is about, here’s the original trailer and synopsis:

“Tusk” follows Wallace , a journalist on a mission. He finds the story of a lifetime in Mr. Howe, a worldwide adventurer with amazing tales and a curious penchant for walruses.

Tusk is out on September 19, and stars Justin Long, Michael Parks, Haley Joel Osment and Genesis Rodriguez.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
