This new trailer for Thanks for Sharing has left me a bit scared. Not because the movie seems creepy at all though. In fact, the tale of Mark Ruffalo’s sex addict who’s been “sober” for a while and now hits it off with a lovely girl played by Gwyneth Paltrow (does Tony Stark know about this?), but is afraid of what happens when their relationship turns sexual, seems like a genuinely heartfelt and bittersweet little dramedy.

No, what’s raised my hackles is that somewhere out there, some sicko is going to see this and then be inspired to create a terrible porn parody where Bruce Banner is a sober sex addict who turns into the Hulk when he gets some action.

Crud. I just inspired somebody, didn’t I? Quick, lets skip to the trailer and hope he/she forgets.

From Academy Award®-nominated screenwriter and first-time director Stuart Blumberg (“The Kids Are All Right”), “Thanks for Sharing” is a sharply comic and deeply moving look at a new kind of modern family, as a group of friends in recovery learns to face life together with heart, humor and humility. Academy Award-nominee Mark Ruffalo, Academy Award-winner Tim Robbins and Broadway star Josh Gad (“The Book of Mormon”) anchor a stellar ensemble that includes Academy Award-winner Gwyneth Paltrow and pop star Alecia Moore (“Get the Party Started”) in her first film role.

No, you are not going crazy. Well at least in regards to the fact that yes, that is indeed Alecia Moore aka pop diva Pink you just saw (you may still be going crazy in other ways though). From the little we can see of her in this trailer, Miss Moore seems to be holding her own with her more experienced thesps, who all seem to be doing solid work here.

Also, Gwyneth Paltrow is really hot in that black lingerie.

Thanks For Sharing will not be getting it on in the back row of the cinema on September 20, 2013.
