Darryn once told me (booze may have been involved) how he always dreamed of finding his prince and going off to their fairy tale castle to live happily ever after. While that may be a far fetched story for most, for Hollywood actress Grace Kelly that’s exactly what happened. Except that the “happily ever after” part wasn’t quite so happy. This is the story being told in Grace of Monaco, a new biopic from director Olivier Dahan featuring Oscar winner Nicole Kidman as the starlet turned princess and Tim Roth as her prince, both of whom were a royal pain in the butt to the other it seems, as can be seen in this first full trailer.

“Grace of Monaco” is focused on the personal story of former Hollywood star Grace Kelly during a dispute between Monaco’s Prince Rainier III, and France’s Charles De Gaulle over tax laws in the early 1960s. Nicole Kidman stars as Grace Kelly with Tim Roth as Prince Rainier III. The film is directed by Olivier Dahan (“La Vie en Rose”).

Grace of Monaco also stars Frank Langella, Paz Vega, Parker Posey, Milo Ventimiglia and Derek Jacobi. It’s still unknown when it will grace (sorry, couldn’t resist) us with its presence, but expect it sometime later in 2014.
