Who ya gonna call? Someone else because the city rescinded my license to catch ghosts after they realised that I’d been running a scam with a midget dude dressed as a tokoloshe! If you know me, you’ll know that I’m a massive Ghostbusters fan.. And this year marks the 30th anniversary of that cult classic 1984 movie. Time to celebrate.

With the Ghostbusters fever kicking off through an art show, new Lego sets and tours, it’s time to revisit New York and the firehouse HQ of the paranormal investigators. The original film is getting a re-release across 700 screens in the US on August 29, which will then be followed by a new Blu-Ray release of the two movies according to EW.

Those remastered films will arrive on September 16, in a special boxset. Check ’em out:

There’ll be the usual special features and all that jazz. Just a pity that Harold Ramis won’t be around to see it. I highly doubt that anyone here has not seen Ghostbusters. But I do recommend watching one of the greatest films ever made, again. It has held up well, is still filled with quirky lines and is just a feel-good time with an awesome theme tune. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go check that my Proton Pack is working.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
