Jamie Foxx is movin’ on up! And to much better digs than just a deluxe apartment in the sky!
While most of you will still be be ogling that trailer to Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained that was released this morning, Foxx is busy making plans to go from slave to bounty hunter to President of the United States of America, all in one day.
Variety reports that while no official negotiations are under way yet, Foxx has shown interest in joining Roland Emmerich’s White House Down in the role of POTUS. Written by Amazing Spider-Man and Zodiac screenwriter James Vanderbilt, White House Down – not to be confused with White House Taken, which sees Antoine Fuqua directing Gerard Butler as a secret service agent protecting the President from terrorists who have taken over the Oval office – sees Channing Tatum as as a secret service agent protecting the President from terrorists who have taken over the Ov- Wait a minute!
At least with Emmerich at the helm of Down, you can be sure that those terrorists will be packing some kind of weapon or explosive big enough to level 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. That guy seriously has some issues with that building.
