It’s an exciting time to be a Marvel fan! With the release of Captain America: Civil War (which opens tomorrow!), Marvel has officially kicked off their Phase 3. With 10 movies it’s their biggest phase yet, and we’ve got a lot to look forward to.

First up is obviously Civil War itself, which is, by all accounts, totally fantastic. And thanks to Civil War, we also get our first looks at Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther as well as Tom Holland as Spider-man, whose solo films Black Panther and Spider-man: Homecoming will be out later in Phase 3. We’ve already seen the first trailer for Doctor Strange, the next Phase 3 movie to be released, which will be followed by Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which is the one I think I’m looking forward to the most (besides for Civil War of course).

Later on down the line we’re also getting Thor: Ragnarok, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Avengers: Infinity War Part I and Part II. Sadly, Inhumans has been dropped from the line-up, thanks to some scheduling conflicts, but more likely because of the behind-the-scenes drama. Oh well, it can’t all be perfect.

So that’s the next several years’ worth of Marvel movies to look forward to, slightly daunting to say the least! Which one are you most excited for?

Black Panther, it just about edges Guardians vol. 2 for me. The Black Panther is a pretty bad-ass character. Obviously Civil War is highest on the list, can’t wait to go to the cinema a couple times to watch it

Really? Black Panther is the one I know least about, consequently it’s pretty low on the list. I’m sure that’ll change after Civil War though

I’m hoping he will get quite a few new followers after Civil War. He’s got a rich backstory, and he is quite influential, King of Wakanda, married to Storm, member of the Illuminati. I’m sure a bigger comic enthusiast (that’s more diplomatic than geek or nerd, right) will give you a much better overview.

I knew the married to Storm bit, but member of the Illuminati? Haha, okay now I’m intrigued!

You’re intrigued, and hopefully will pick up an issue or 2, perhaps a TPB. Then my job here is done.

If you’re not stoked for a Black Panther movie after Civil War then there’s something wrong with you.

Do I have to choose?!? Even Thor, a character that’s been pretty meh in his solo showings and average in the team-ups, has me excited in Phase 3.

Haha, you don’t *have* to choose, but it’s more fun that way! I’d say I’m least excited about Thor as well, his solo movies are very meh

In that case, anything the Russo’s touch will win it for me, Winter soldier was brilliant! Also pretty keen on seeing how they do Captain Marvel, lots of potential there

Winter Soldier is one of my favourite movies in general, not just from Marvel. And according to some early buzz, Civil War might just outdo it
