Hayley Atwell is awesome. Besides for being gorgeous, witty, charming and completely ruling the internet with hilarious Instagram posts and Dubsmash wars, she is of course also Peggy Carter, the kickass Marvel character that was first introduced to us a love interest to Chris Evans’ Cap in Captain America: The First Avenger but has since gone on to steal all our hearts in Marvel’s Agent Carter.

The first season of the hit show had the indomitable, pioneering S.H.I.E.L.D. agent going up against everything from KBG-trained sleeper agents to super-bombs to hypnotizing war criminals and of course, good bad ol’ 1940’s workplace sexism. But in the show’s upcoming second season, it’s time to tackle something even more fiendish and duplicitous: Hollywood!

Yes, Peggy Carter is moving on up to glitzy Los Angeles in the 1950’s and we’ve got our first glimpse of all Tinseltown punching, kicking and shooting in this new teaser trailer! Lights, camera, Carter!

Yep, that looks to be the same amount of fun as the first season was. And although not really revealed in the trailer, showrunnerhttp://www.comicbookresources.com/article/sdcc-agent-carter-showrunners-promise-romance-glamour-andthe-darkforceTara Butters promised a few months back that on top of all the action and glamour, season 2 will also be introducing the Darkforce, an intradimensional energy that has ties to the upcoming Doctor Strange.

Season 2 of Agent Carter is set to debut on January 5, 2016 with a two hour-long premiere and will take the place of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. during its season 3 mid-season break.
