At this late  stage of the game, with its release mere weeks away, you’re either crazy excited for Captain America: Civil War, or you’re actually dead and just haven’t noticed yet (I would recommend you see a medical professional about that). With the “final” trailer for the upcoming Marvel film having already given us our biggest payoff yet about what’s to come with the debut of a certain friendly, neighbourhood Spider-Man, I guess the studio feels it needs to remind us of what came before.

Enter this newly released promo which takes us back and shows the paths of Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers aka Captain America and Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark aka Iron Man, and what led them to leading opposing sides in the upcoming superhero smackdown.

Check it out below.

Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

Directed by Captain America: Winter Soldier‘s Joe and Anthony Russo, Captain America: Civil War also stars Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp and Frank Grillo. It is scheduled to open on May 6, 2016.
