Were you not a fan of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1s change of gear from the previous installment in the franchise? Did you want a bit more Hunger Games-y action and less lessons on how to shoot bad TV ads? Well, then you’ll be happy to know that the final chapter (for now) in the Hunger Games saga is sure as hell going to deliver on that front. At least that’s the assessment you can make after watching this latest action-packed full trailer that shows off Mockingjay – Part 2‘s several big setpieces.

I can make that assessment because I’ve also read the books, and know that Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen and her fellow rebels are in for one crazy and violent challenge as they try storm a Capitol which has been turned into the deadliest Hunger Games arena yet by Donald Sutherland’s President Snow, in an attempt to stop these rebels from putting an arrow through his forebrain – always a worthy cause.

Check out the new trailer below.

The epic global phenomenon of “The Hunger Games” arrives at its powerful final chapter with “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” – in which Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) now fully realizes the stakes are no longer just for survival, they are for the future. With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss Everdeen confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) – Katniss goes off mission, using the unit from District 13 – and risking their lives – to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow increasingly obsessed with destroying her, the mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 also stars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Natalie Dormer, Jena Malone, Woody Harrelson, Jeffrey Wright, Julianne Moore, Stanley Tucci, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Gwendoline Christie. It is scheduled for release on November 20, 2015.
