Well it’s the new year and we here at Themovies.co.za like to keep our readers bought happy and what better way to do that than to offer stuff for FREE! The people over at SONY Entertainment and Timesmedia Films have very generously offered us some tickets to give away for early screenings of the highly anticipated WWII tank movie, Fury.

The movie officially opens locally on 30 January 2015, but we’ll be hosting a screening on TUESDAY 27 January 2015 at 20:00 at both Canal Walk Cine 13 in Cape Town and Johannesburg’s Hydepark Cine 5, so you will be of the first people in the country to experience it!

Fury was written and directed by David Ayer (End of Watch, Training Day) and stars Brad Pitt, Logan Lerman, Shia LaBeouf, Michael Peña, Jon Bernthal and Jason Isaacs. Here’s the trailer and synopsis:

In April 1945, the Allies are making their final push in the European theater. A battle-hardened Army sergeant named Don “Wardaddy” Collier (Brad Pitt), leading a Sherman tank and a five-man crew, undertakes a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Hopelessly outnumbered, outgunned and saddled with an inexperienced soldier (Logan Lerman) in their midst, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds as they move to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

To stand the chance of winning a double ticket, along with free popcorn and soda, head on over to our competition site HERE and leave your name, valid email address and choice of cinema. Last chance for entries are on 19 January 2015, as we’ll be doing the draw and emailing the winners on 20 January.

THIS COMPETITION IS NOW OFFICIALLY CLOSED AND WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA EMAIL SHORTLY.

Once again, thanks to SONY Entertainment and Times Media Films for this opportunity.
