Fantastic-Four

It feels like it was only last week we were giving away watches in our awesome Ant-Man competition, wait… It WAS only last week… Well almost everyone here at TheMovies.co.za enjoys making people happy, except Trevor, he’s usually too busy chasing cars to really pay attention. So in line with Kervyn’s Policy 101 we have another giveaway!

This time the great people at TimesMediaFilms are offering five, yes, FIVE hampers of goodies ahead of the new Fantastic Four film releasing on 14 August and you could stand a chance to win! Firstly, let’s have a quick recap of what the movie is all about:

Four young outsiders acquire amazing abilities after a trip to an alternate universe changes their physical forms in unforeseen ways.

That is looking like some serious fun, can’t wait to see it! So what exactly are we giving away? Well have a look at the below pics and find out, come on. In the words of Shia Labeouf, do it! DO IT!

That is some pretty cool gear I am sure you’ll agree. So what do you need to do in order to stand a chance to win this time? Well we had a few ideas. Darryn suggested people watch all the Transformer movies at the same time, a feat that would leave most permanently leaping for cover at the mere rustle of some leaves. Kervyn suggested anyone entering must watch Pixels – something we all vetoed as it goes against basic human rights. Realizing the words about to spill from Trevor’s now-foaming mouth may break the world I suggested all you need to do is punch in your name and email address on our mini-competition site here. Just make sure it’s with a VALID email address and remember one email address, one vote, because DEMOCRACY!

We’ll draw the winners on 14 August, the day the movie comes out.

I have been an avid fan of movies ever since I discovered Santa Clause wasn't real, a day marked in my memory by my first viewing of It's a Wonderful Life, which wasn't so wonderful that day. Since then I've watched thousands of movies and even fooled my parents into putting me through uni to get a degree in the subject. I first started writing as a journalist for The South African Newspaper before moving onto communications for an NGO trying to save the planet. Unfortunately my recommendations to the CEO that we should all don rings imbued with the powers of earth, fire, wind, water and HEART went unheard. Now I pretend the end isn't nigh by hiding in movies.
