RAW April 03

WWE Monday Night RAW took place from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. Here’s all the action that went down ahead of WWE Super Showdown this Sunday.

Drew McIntyre and The Revival def. Roman Reigns and The Usos

Six men, one ring and plenty of grudges to settle! Between The Revival wanting to prove themselves as the best name in tag team action and Roman Reigns wanting to pay Drew McIntyre back for weeks of interference, the match that kicked off RAW was stacked with plenty of ambition. In the end, it would be Shane McMahon’s presence that made all the difference, as the upcoming super showdown clash wouldn’t just end in defeat for Reigns according to Shane, but also the Big Dog’s first ever submission loss.

A pair of Claymore’s cleared the ring moments later, McIntyre had an Uso on the ground and a three-count followed as the Scottish Psychopath and the Revival had their hands raised in victory.

The Lucha House Party brawled with Lars Sullivan

Charlotte Flair def. Lacey Evans via Disqualification

Rey Mysterio relinquished the United States Championship to Samoa Joe

Controversy may have dogged Rey Mysterio ever since he won the United States championship at Money In The Bank (What with Samoa Joe’s shoulders having never even touched the floor when he was pinned), but the master of the 619 did the right thing and relinquished the title to his opponent last night. As for Joe?He acepted it back with grace and dignity.

Naw I’m kidding, he snapped an injured Mysterio back into a Coquina Clutch the second the belt was his again.

Braun Strowman def. Bobby Lashley (Arm Wrestling Match)

Nikki Cross def. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Peyton Royce

Brock Lesnar attacked Universal Champion Seth Rollins

That Money In The Bank cash-in that Lesnar promised for RAW? That ain’t happening. Instead, the Beast Incarnate absolutely destroyed WWE Universal champion Seth Rollins, ambushing him and delivering all manner of chair shots and pain. With a weakened kingslayer and a golden opportunity to cash in, Lesnar decided to rather skip out on using his golden ticket, while Rollins got some further damage from his Super Showdown opponent Baron Corbin after the Lone Wolf added an End of Days to his punishment list.

Bray Wyatt presented a very special episode of “Firefly Fun House”

It was weird, it introduced Huskus the Pig Boy and it ended with a Muscle Man dance. Well alright then.

Triple H and Randy Orton met face-to-face

Ricochet def. Cesaro

The real story here is how when Cesaro went to look for a table under the ring, he pulled one out that had 24/7 champion R-Truth on it, as the fella had been attempting to hide from Drake Maverick and his hunting posse all night long. One superkick from Carmella to Maverick put the hunter down for the night, as Truth escaped into the night once again.

The Undertaker addressed Goldberg

YOU’RE NEXT…to help the Undertaker earn some amazing moolah from that sweet sweet Saudi dollar that the WWE can’t get enough of lately!

It’s worrying, coz Goldberg has a history of not wrestling safely, severely injuring others.
