WWE Wrestlemania 35 – Every match happening this Sunday

Wrestlemania 35 (1)

It’s that time of the year. The lights are going up, boots are being shined and the fireworks are being loaded into cannons for an event that can only be described as Wrestling Christmas. This Sunday, it’s all or nothing. Everything and I do mean everything is on the line. From the WWE Universal Championship through to the various RAW Tag Team titles and a ton of bragging rights, Wrestlemania is where stories end and new beginnings are written.

This year’s incarnation may just be the biggest event yet. Even without the Undertaker’s legendary presence (lol right, he’ll be there mark my words), the card is stacked and each match is looking to create that picture perfect Wrestlemania moment. Here’s a look at the line-up so far:

Wrestlemania 35 (3)
  • Raw Tag Team Champions The Revival vs. Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder
  • WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy vs. Tony Nese (Kickoff Match)
  • WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal
  • Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
  • SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. Ricochet & Aleister Black vs. The Bar vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev (Fatal 4-Way Match)
  • Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin (Kurt Angle’s Farewell Match)
  • Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley vs. “The Demon” Finn Bálor
  • United States Champion Samoa Joe vs. Rey Mysterio
  • AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton
  • WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. Beth Phoenix & Natalya vs. The IIconics vs. Nia Jax & Tamina (Fatal 4-Way Match)
  • Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre
  • Shane McMahon vs. The Miz (Falls Count Anywhere Match)
  • Triple H vs. Batista (No Holds Barred Match)
  • Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins
  • WWE Champion “The New” Daniel Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston
  • Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch (Winner Take All Match)
Wrestlemania 35 (2)

My predictions? Triple H will go over but not without some sort of sacrifice, the main event will end in a reunion of the Four Horsewomen (even though Becky Lynch deserves to be the first ever undisputed WWE Woman’s champion) and Daniel Bryan will probably retain his gold because a villain that good deserves to be the perfect foil to Smackdown LIVE’s greatest heroes. As for the all-important Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins title bout?

I’ve got no idea. Just when you thought Brock Lesnar would finally vacate the title scene, the Beast Incarnate has always retained and has managed to create a mythical sense of power that no other WWE champion in history has been capable of. If Rollins is looking to topple the mayor of Suplex City from the top of the food chain, he’s going to need more than just speed and a quick stomp to the head.

He’s going to need a miracle. Wrestlemania 35 kicks off this Sunday, with SuperSport having a live broadcast at 01:00 AM on Monday April 08 on SuperSport channel 8. A primetime repeat will be shown as well, from 19:00 PM on SuperSport channel 9.

  1. Was going to type my predictions, but realised that I don’t care about most of the card. Probably Reigns winning, Styles, Shane, HHH (good to be the boss), Bryan, Boring Lesnar, and hopefully Lynch.
