It’s less than a month before Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is out, putting you as a soldier in Ancient Greece’s Peloponnesian War. To prepare for the release, Ubisoft has revealed the sort of PC you’ll need to shape the fate of history before the dawn of the Assassins. Ubisoft would also like to make it very clear that this isn’t a simple port of the console versions of the game, and that the PC version will be tailored to that platform.

As such, it’ll include more customisation options than you could shake a staff at, a benchmarking tool and an uncapped frame-rate. What’s quite nice is that it’ll be taking a few cues from console games by offering dynamic resolution scaling so it should look and run well on different configurations. Here are the recommended settings:

Editor. I'm old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time - they were capable of being masterpieces. I'm here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.
