If there’s one thing that Blizzard is known for, it’s taking their sweet time on cranking out sequels to beloved properties. Overwatch was the first new Blizzard franchise in many a year when it was first released to the masses in 2016, and now a mere three years later and the game is getting its first sequel. In the fast-paced world of hero shooters that Overwatch pioneered, it may be a move that’s for the best.
