Breaking News : Gran Turismo 5 Delayed…again

1 min read

Were you honestly expecting Gran Turismo 5, the game that’s been in development for far too long now, to actually be released in March like Polyphony Digital said? Well, it’s not – as Sony Computer Entertainment have just confirmed the game has been delayed. the game’s new release date has been changed to the very vague date of “TBA”

The game, which has cost $60 million to make so far has a plethora of interesting features, neither of which really matter if their competitors can release two critically acclaimed games in the time taken for PD to release a demo.

Perhaps Polyphony Digital are reworking the game to feature 3D visuals, or they’ve hired the team from now defunct 3DRealms, and are changing the name of the much anticipated racing sim to “Gran Turismo Forever”

Editor. I'm old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time - they were capable of being masterpieces. I'm here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.
