Brink is a lot deeper game that anticipated

Brink has been on my radar for a huge amount of time now, possibly too long.

In a meeting the other day it was brought up that possibly Brink missed it’s perfect release date of May last year and is now possibly a little dated. I don’t personally believe that myself and now after seeing this video we can see that there is a lot more to the title than just a run and gun.

The sheer number of objectives should help increase the lifespan of this title and if the shooting mechanic is up to scratch I can see this title taking over from the still incredibly popular Team Fortress 2.

From the video it appears that Splash Damage has been working very hard on gameplay and the mechanics to the detriment of the graphics which may get some people complaining but in the greater scheme of things gameplay always trumps graphics.
