Whoops it seems like our local specialist gaming retailer has made the international news for all the wrong reasons… again.
This time it’s because they’ve put up a place holder for the widely expected but still not confirmed God of War IV and a February 2013 release date.
Now BT Games will likely confirm that this is just a placeholder and isn’t meant to be seen as confirmation of anything but this isn’t the first time they’ve done something like this.
They previously leaked the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer information and then they also managed to break the news about a Jak and Dexter collection.
This breach has now been picked up by joystiq, GameInformer and vg247 and I wouldn’t be surprised if our local God of War distributors are having some grumpy telephone conversations with BT this morning.
But saying that you’d be hard pressed to find a God of War gamer who isn’t excited about the return of Kratos.
