Dota 2: South Africa vs Mexico is on

We may be lazy here at Lazygamer and we may be disorganised but we are definitely not liars… so that match I spoke about a while ago has definitely not been forgotten.

I have been in contact with Mexico’s two top Dota 2 teams, SUMA and Quetzal, and we had a match that we were trying to plan for this weekend against Bravado and Energy from South Africa.

Unfortunately that plan hasn’t quite worked out as planned as our local guys have plans on Saturday night and the Mexican teams have combined to form a united force.

But do not despair, a new game is being organised right now where Quetzal (which now includes SUMA) and Aztek Gaming have both agreed to fight for national pride on the 12th of October against Bravado and Energy in a best of 3 match up.

The winners of each game will go in and face each other for the final, obviously from a media stand point I want one Mexican and one South African team to make it to the final but either way after that weekend we will know which country has the better Dota 2 clan.

The logistics and complications are being handled by the accomplished team at PolarFluke and we will have shoutcasters for both matches.

So stay tuned to see the best of the South African clans take on the best of the Mexican clans.
