Fun fact about Dragon Ball Z: Even when he has willingly allowed an extraterrestrial space wizard to take over his mind and unlock the dormant rage within him that results in an entire stadium of people being murdered in one almighty energy blast, Vegeta is still a better dad than Goku. That also happened to be the exact situation that Goku found himself in at the opening of the Buu saga, as a long-awaited rematch between the prince of Saiyans and Earth’s mightiest warrior finally kicked off some several years after their first iconic tussle.
Super Saiyan versus Super Saiyan! Royalty vs orange collar peasant! Who would win? Goku, duh? Jeez guys come on this arc was broadcast in Japan in 1994 already. Anyway, that hasn’t stopped Bandai Namco from revisiting that particular period in Dragon Ball Z history many many many times in the past, with plenty of video games over the last decade alone taking players to a familiar desert wasteland so that a rivalry could be settled several times over.
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is the latest game in the wish-granting orb saga to shine a spotlight on that titanic showdown, and while it certainly isn’t the first to do so, it just might be the prettiest adaptation yet:
STILL A BETTER DAD THAN GOKU! If the Majin Buu saga is in play in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, that means that one other feature will be active inside of the game: Super Saiyan 3! The strongest transformation in all of Dragon Ball Z before it was replaced in Dragon Ball Super by Super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (or Super Saiyan Blue to be more concise), Kaioken Super Saiyan Blue and Autonomous Ultra Instinct, the long-haired messiah form will also pop up in Goku’s life story according to some snazzy new screens:
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be out on January 17 and while it basically looks like a third XenoVerse game, I’m still amped for it.

Have you tried the XenoVerse games by any chance? This is basically XenoVerse 3, but the first sequel is still well worth a jam session.

Played xenoverse 2 lite a bit , it was fun. But to be honest this is follows the original dbz and I am excited for that, dude it even has the Goku and piccolo trying to get a driving licence as a side mission, that’s worth looking forward too
