With a mere month to go until 2018 calls it a day, you’d be forgiven for thinking that December is a dumping ground for unwanted games. Not exactly true. While the silly season will see some equally silly games in the form of Nippon Marathon and a definitive version of Die Nasty Warriors on the ol’ Nintendo Switch, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t some quality to be had.
On the contrary, the right game at the right time can still do gangbusters in December, once the dust of the October and November Blitzkrieg has settled down. So what’s on the way next month? Explosions, a final chapter of web-slinging action and plenty more.

So, along with middling Darksiders reviews and a lacklustre December – it looks like I can save up some dosh for Anthem. Nice.

For me, I can close the books on a very good year of gaming, where some stellar titles were released, but there were also some disappointments The only game in December that remotely interests me is Just Cause 4
