Aside from a few standout moments at the press conferences – namely, Ubisoft’s Watch dogs reveal, David Cage’s Beyond: Two Souls introduction and a gameplay demonstration of Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us – the E3 press conferences were a little dull.
Even Nintendo’s first major showcase of their new Wii U hardware was a little underwhelming, closing off a largely uninspired E3. That said, each major play did have something interesting to show – and while some are calling this the worst E3 in recent history, I actually think it was better than last year’s.
What from E3 this year actually left an impression on you? What got you excited? I gotta say, my favourite moment from E3 is reflected in the header image. That bizarre, WTF Iwata Banana moment saved the whole of E3 for me.
