I’m of the opinion that nominating these things before the show has even begun is a little strange and bit restrictive – but it is what it is really. We’ll be on the ground at Gamescom next week to bring you all the news, play all the games and deliver our opinions, make daily videos for your amusement, drink a lot of beer and also take all of the selfies. All of them.

Editor. I'm old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time - they were capable of being masterpieces. I'm here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.
