Despite not actually being announced yet, it’s been confirmed that Gears of War 3 will be hitting the Xbox 360 in April of next year. How is it that we know this?
I know this, because Tyler knows this. And Tyler turned on his Xbox. Some poor sod over at Microsoft HQ flipped a switch a little early, and an advert for the announcement showed up on the Xbox Dashboard. Oops! That’s taken the wind right out Cliffy B’s sails, I’m sure. We have no details other than a date as yet – but I’m sure we’ll find out more next Monday after Cliffy’s date with occasionally funny Jimmy Fallon.
“The epic story concludes April 2011”. Here’s hoping the multiplayer component rocks.

I loved Gears 1 and 2, yet strangely, after Uncharted 2, I couldn’t give a flying frankenfurter about this game.
Also, hype-gen fail of note.

Gears 2 was a bit of a letdown. The whole emo story with Dom and his wife just didn’t feel right. There was just something off about it, but it did have some nice moments though….

lol Fox1 it’ll conclude like Halo “concludes”, expect a spinoff Gears in the year to follow featuring ODST-types or COG soldiers from “Epsilon squad”. You know the poor guys with no body armour, who are only armed with kitchen knives and forks. :happy:

im a sony fanboy….but ive got my xtos360 aswell and i have to say GOW 1 and 2 was the only reason to own that load box
