I love public holidays. Seriously, can’t we have one or two a week, for the duration of the year? I could really get used to this whole not-working-a-full-five-day-week thing! Speaking of which, I’m done, and off to enjoy the long weekend. Ok bye!
I’m still in two minds about Battleborn, but I’m happy knowing that once work on that MOBA shooter wraps up, Gearbox will start working on Borderlands 3. Hot damn, I’m keen to go back to Pandora!
Look, I may not be the biggest fan of PewDiePie, but I do admire him for what he has managed to achieve on YouTube. My respect for him grew more this week when he reflected on how he’s changed over the years. You have to give him credit, his content really has matured and is a lot better than what it used to be.
You know the Konami Code? It’s 30 years old now. Yeah, I feel old now too, but I am grateful to Konami for giving me all them extra lives. Happy birthday, you good code you!
Keen to get your hands on Tekken X Street Fighter? You’re going to have to wait, and for a long time. The game has apparently been put on hold.
Want to hear something depressing? Sony’s PSN made more money than the whole of Nintendo last year. OUCH.
Am I excited for Uncharted 4? You bet! Am I willing to steal it from a delivery truck in transit? Nope, but these people were.
In other bad news, Scott Cawthon has teased a new Five Nights at Freddy’s game. Am I ready for it? NO GOD PLEASE NO!
Hearthstone’s Whispers of the Old Gods is out! Did I get lucky with my card pack opening? Well, see for yourself…
Spoiler: I’m salty. If you’re not in the mood for any of that, you can watch Darryn botch an assassination instead.
Lastly, Dota 2 has changed thanks to its latest patch. The MOBA has now basically become Defense of the League of Starcraft II.
Is Darryn Batman Forever?
Header Image of the Week
Hang on, a message just arrived in my inbox.
“It’d be a shame of Darryn didn’t get image of the week for his Uncharted 4 article. A right shame…”
Well, ok then!
So, LegendaryLea got banned from Twitch for 30 days for accidentally exposing herself? That got you all talking – that article raked in a whopping 253 comments!
Comment of the Week
The Konami code has been around for 30 years now, and not once did we ever think of using it IRL. Thanks for the tip, Strawman Jim:
“I use the konami code every day, just before 15h00 when the energy levels are low, and just after 18h00 when I need to recover from my time spent in traffic.”

Darryn has a bottomless supply of these sorts of videos it seems. It’s potentially NSFL!
