Currently, GTA V only has two places to go. Playstation 3, or Xbox 360. Which is a shame, because I’d really like to see the game flex some muscle on a next-gen console. And maybe PC. So what happens when the game gets confirmed for PS4? The internet goes balls-mad, that’s what. Pity it’s not happening though.
The SonyUK Twitter account responded to a fan who was clearly excited for “GTA V Miami”, saying the following:
@mrxmas123 GTA V is going to be amazing, especially on the PS4! What other games are you looking forward to playing, Norman?

Whoops, looks like that was a slip of the finger there though, as GTA 5 isn’t headed to PS4. The Sony account apologised for that typo, with Rockstar confirming the mistake to Kotaku.
At this point, we’re pretty confident that GTA V is going to be one of the biggest sellers of the year. Gamers are already in a frenzy for the title, and there’s going to be a lot of cash heading to either the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 platforms in the future.
And even if the game is headed to PS4, not revealing that info is a smart move. Gamers who are looking to invest in next-gen could hold off on buying the game until the PS4 launches, and with GTA V costing plenty of moolah to produce, that’s a move that could hurt those crucial first-week sales.
