Hey look! Tons of new One Piece: Pirate Warrior 3 screens!

1 min read

You ever read the One Piece manga? The simple way to describe it, is that it comes off like an epileptic fit that is having a seizure while vomiting ink everywhere to form a crazy story about pirates and a lead character who happens to be about as intelligent as my pet rock. It’s also massively beloved, and a Japanese comic juggernaut that has no end in sight and will most likely outlive us all as radioactive cockroaches evolve to appreciate comics once the planet is a barren, nuclear-irradiated husk of its former self. On that note, here’s a ton of new screenshots for the game.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 is pretty much a one on many kind of action game. The current press release describes it as the kind of title where you “Unleash impressive attacks on the hordes of enemies pouring onto players’ screens, and double team with a partner to launch an even more massive assault.

A variety of co-op action and fusion attacks with new support attacks will take the thrilling action gameplay to greater heights! Team up with your favorites from the Straw Hat Crew or even with popular villains like Captain Kuro, Alvida and Axe-hand Morgan and call them into battle to pull off unrestrained combos that will send enemies flying.

Hey, if Hyrule Warriors can do this and sell big, I’ll give it a bash. It looks quite pretty overall, and will most likely have its fair share of anime fans. The game is hitting PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PS Vita and PC later this year. BELIEVE IT.
