IGN tackles the question that has been plaguing all well off gamers for the past month.
If you have both a PS3 and Xbox 360 which shooter should you pick up if you can only afford one?
The answer may surprise you.
For the guys who can’t see the embedded video I’ll ruin the surprise, Resistance 2 takes the prize due to it’s comprehensive multi-player and co-op sections and adequate single player. Gears 2 wins on the single player side but it’s also not the best SP campaign this year.
So are you surprised?

I’m shocked 😯 although I really don’t know resistance at all, so i can’t really voice a valid opinion however both should be regarded as excellent games and definitely worth their weight in gold

60 players split into 8 vs 8? = Disappointing
Lets face it, of course IGN are going to give it to Resistance. If they gave it to Gears 2 absolutely no one would read the review, because there really is no comparison.

Resistance 2 SP is a pretyy crap standard affair, I must be honest, but the Co-op and MP are down right awesome if you have the right people to play with especially for the co-op which brings multiplayer tactical gaming to an all new level.
