We are going to try something different here and hopefully it works out well…
I am just about to send a list of questions over to Epic in the form of an interview for the Gears of War 2 developers to answer, however I would like to know what you guys really want to hear from them?
What questions do you want me to ask them remembering that not all questions will be sent through and we have no promises that they will answer all the questions we send them so asking how much they get paid is most probably a waste of a question….
Is there something you have always wanted to know that no one else has asked about Gears of War or developing in general?

I HAVE A HUGE QUESTION. And here it goes.Last week they announced that Gears Of War 2 went gold.The very next day somebody had an original copy of the game.Did they lie to us about it going gold last week? Because it takes atleast 2 weeks for a game to get MSFT clearence (Che Chou at the FM2 forum said that) and give or take a week to press it.And then ship it to stores.Oh,same with Far Cry 2.It didnt go gold last week,people have copies already,as told by N4G.

I think they’re looking for more development questions this’d be related to your production and distribution, also there are a lot of Promo copies that are sent out to Press for review purposes so that the mag is up to date with releases helping readers obtain info. however if there are retailers selling a leaked version of the game before the official launch date it is quite possible that it has been pirated? and therefore illegal! I’d like to know more about thatom

Just something I noticed while playing at Rage, when you have an active reload with the sniper rifle and you shoot someone in the chest they don’t get downed. Why was this changed and what other weapon tweaks are there in Gear 2.

I have a few questions:
1. What new weather effects can we expect in Gears 2?
2. There was a lack of human females in Gears 1. Can we expect more?
3. How many locusts are there from start to finish in the single player campaign?
4. Are there going to be any spin-offs with Jack having his own game?

third, fourth and fifthed. We have been looking at some of the leaked images and a couple of them have shown names in the corner like Baird [shotgunned] Drone 1 and things like that, so it looks like the bots are looking quite possible. Hell I hope so.

On the 15th of July Lazy had an article that stated
that Gears2 will indeed have bots.

I just want them to know that they have a huge fanbase here. and then ask them if they release content which we can actually download(we couldnt download map packs for the 1st gears)
