Killzone 2 Delayed – But only in South Africa

36 second read

Bad news for the local Killzone 2 fans, the local release date has apparently been pushed back by 7 days.

Most of the local online retailers now have an ETA for Killzone 2 of the 6th of March 2009.

We haven’t received any official reason for the delay from SterKinekor at this time but to be honest I don’t there is anything they could say to make the gamers feel good about this delay.

Let’s hope this is the one and only delay for this AAA title.

Another reason to import – I have yet to buy a SK distributed game locally this generation. ๐Ÿ˜†

I’ve admittedly never bought a single SK game, neither. Either imported or bought second hand. :ermm:

  • Hey,this is being reported as confirmed, but is it? Is there any official word on it ?

  • “has apparently been pushed back by 7 days.”

Not sure which part of that you are taking as confirmed but according to all local retailers it is true.

If you have any information stating differently then I am happy to see it.

Sk hasn’t sent out a press release yet in regards to this

7 Days??? OMG 7 whole freakin days??? WHAT ARE WE GONNA DOOOOOOOO? WHY GOD? WHYYYYYYYYYY?

Relax peeps, is not the end of the world.
If we gonna cry about stuff let us rather cry about the real issue for gamers in South Africa… TELKOM aka HELLKOM… their outrages prices and slow speeds and terrible line drops have been the bane of south african gamers, making it almost impossible for us to compete fairly against the rest of the world. Game release delays are the least of our concerns.
