I am, as I told you in my preview, pretty damned excited for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. The first one was an unexpected gem. I may just break my “no special edition” rule for this game – because the “Dracula’s Tomb Premium Edition’  is magnificent.

The ‘Dracula’s Tomb Premium Edition’  is beautifully encased in a tomb casing, contains a copy of the game, four highly detailed miniature figurines designed by comic book artist Neil Googe (Judge Dredd, Wildcats), an A4 hardcover art book, and an exclusive Steelbook cover.

There will be just 30,000 of these across all European territories and will be available exclusively via BT Games and one or two other, as yet unnamed retailers

There will also be an alternative steelbook edition for pre-orders from BT Games and those other mystery retailers which is encased in a metallic cover featuring an exclusive image of Dracula.

Those who pre-order will also receive the alternate ‘Premium Dracula’ suit, a ‘Dark Dracula’ costume, or a ‘Relic Rune’ pack, depending on which retailer you order from. We’ll try get more information on which retailers will offer which goodies.

There’s also a brand new trailer for the game, called Dracula’s Vengeance, which you can watch RIGHT here/

The game’s coming to PC and current gen consoles at the end of February next year.

Editor. I'm old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time - they were capable of being masterpieces. I'm here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.
