I’m banking a stack of five cent coins scavenged from public phone boxes that we won’t see Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain in 2014. What we will see though is Ground Zeroes, a retail prologue of the game that sets up the new world of Big Boss and co. And it’s got some achievements waiting for players.

1000 Gamer points worth of achievements to be exact, spread across 15 of them. Xbox Achievements posted the list of what your efforts will reward you with in that game, which also hint at the plot. Needless to say, there be spoilers ahead for those of you who can put two and two together. And here we…go!

1 Reunion – Reunited with Chico or Paz

2 Downfall – Cleared the “Ground Zeroes” mission

3Genesis – Cleared a Side Op or Extra Op

4Accomplished – Cleared all missions (including Side Ops and Extra Ops)

5 Skilled – Cleared any mission (including Side Ops and Extra Ops) with a S-rank

6 Hero – Cleared all missions (including Side Ops and Extra Ops) with a S-rank

7 Rescue – In the “Ground Zeroes” mission, rescued the prisoner to be executed and extracted him via chopper

8 Depth – Cleared the “Eliminate the Renegade Threat” Side Op by extracting both targets

9 Pacifist – Cleared the “Intel Operative Rescue” Side Op without killing a single enemy

10 Infiltration – Cleared the “Classified Intel Acquisition” Side Op while riding in the back of a truck

11 Extraction – In the “Destroy the Anti-Air Emplacements” Side Op, rescued and extracted all prisoners via chopper

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
