So last week I posted an article giving you an update on our legal woes and how Colin Webster has an interdict against us that is going to cost at least R20 000 to resolve. Even if we are right.
I also managed to swallow my pride and ask you the community for help and while I knew we’d get some cash in I can honestly say I didn’t expect what happened.
Mere minutes after the post went live the money started coming in, by the end of the day we had just topped the R10k mark.
But it didn’t stop there, as the night and days rolled on so did the money keep coming in and as of right now there is an incredible R23 350 in the account. Yes in less than 3 days the entire initial legal bill is covered and the community has stated in an emphatic manner that not only do we have some incredible support but that the eSports community is sick and tired of the way that the MSSA acts.
I can’t tell you how humbled I am that so many people felt that we were deserving of being helped. I’m not normally a humble person and can often get under people’s skin but to see the community come out in the way they have has truly changed me and I’d like to thank each and every one of you for what you have done.
Every single donation, no matter how small, has restored my faith in humanity and for that I can’t thank you enough.
To Colin, who I know reads these, maybe take a step back and see how badly you have hurt the local eSports community for them to unilaterally back me in this court action?
I wish I could tell the rest of you exactly what is going on but unfortunately the lawyers have recommended saying as little as possible before my mouth gets me in more trouble.
The court date is still set for the 18th of March and we are fully prepared for that day. What is nice about a court date is that the truth will come out and while Colin has refused to respond to the claims that he is Mathateni Mosotho from the eSports Blog. When asked about this in court, as it’s the majority of the article, he will have no choice but to respond.
As they say, The Truth Will Set You Free.
Oh if you missed this last week, Darryn was challenged to review a game in a Batman outfit and yes he had a spare one in his cupboard so this happened.
When we hit the magical R20k mark Darryn then challenged me to making my own video with an awe inspiring speech. Now I really don’t like being in pictures or video. But with the amount of amazing support the community has given how could I possibly say no?
I’m sorry, you deserve a better video, I can do better. I will do better. 10 points for the movie reference.

Im not insulting him, he’s a lovely stand up guy. That has done something terribly annoying, i apologise and hope that he has a wonderful day full of roses and petals and incredible nature all around him. I will respect the wonderful man as much as he needs to be respected. And i hope the best rain drops and the best people treat him like the stand up guy he really is.
