Assassin’s Creed 4 will be arriving on our shores next Tuesday. Luckily enough someone somewhere has decided that giving Lazygamer five pairs of tickets to the game’s Launch party would be a good idea. That can only mean one thing, free tickets to anyone who can tell us why Lazygamer is a better website than all the rest. That is right! It is that easy to win two tickets to the Assassin’s Creed 4 launch party. Unlike rAge, food will be provided and the consoles running the game will also be present.
So as not to chase away anyone who read my Top 10 list, here are the basics. Assassin’s Creed 4 launch party will be on Monday, we have tickets that could be won by you the community, say why Lazygamer is the best website and lastly – and this is important – it will be held in Cape Town, for all you grumblers who keep saying nothing happens in the city with the mountain, bru. Ubisoft has gone out of their way to bring the party to Cape Town – so you complacent sea-side dwelling mofo’s had better appreciate it. It’ll be at Shop 7, Quay 5, at the V&A Waterfront, and you ought be there at 17:30, for festivities that commence at 18:00. Yaaarghhhh!

First of all, their website name is the greatest (naturally, humans are lazy or “energy efficient” as I like to call them). Secondly, their photoshop skills are unmatched. And thirdly, the community is far greater than any community I’ve come across. Unfortunately, the trolls aren’t very skilled but we deal with them quite easily.

Lazygamer is the best website for news on games purely because it is (generally) without much trolling incidents (I’m looking at you, News24) and the community are generally open and friendly. Also, and this is important, both the staff and the majority of the community are sentient creatures (although sometimes I wonder how console loves can ever be rationale creatures – but oh well).
Oh. Lastly. Reviews are done well and I hardly read much bias (advertising pressure?) in them.

Firstly, it’s local! And honestly, that makes a difference coz you guys get us! Secondly, the awesome LG staff – your articles are interesting, informative, entertaining and witty all at once, a feat not matched by anyone else, as far as I’m concerned! And thirdly, but not leastly (is that a word?), the community. All jokes aside, reason I love LG is because there is a great sense of community. It is not difficult to enter, just don’t be a dick and speak nicely. Well, sometimes it’s difficult, especially if you need to prove yourself to the Admiral. But it’s nice that the writers offer feedback when they can and that there is always a good vibe. It’s not like 4Chan (bring on the downvotes noobs) where people fear for their comments and the results.
