Rage PC system requirements detailed

2 min read

The Apocalypse is coming (yet again), and its headed straight for your PC. Yep, id Software is releasing Rage after several years in development, and it does indeed look gorgeous so far. Maybe a little too good.

So while PC gamers who have systems powerful enough to qualify as Large Hadron Colliders sit back and scoff at the slightly less detailed console versions, the rest of the PC gaming community is no doubt biting their nails off at the the thought of the bank loan they’ll need to run this game at medium quality settings. But don’t despair guys, because the PC requirements for Rage might not need the kind of financing that can only be found in selling your organs.

Bethesda has listed the following specs on their official site, the Bethblog.

  • OS: Win XP SP3, Vista, Win 7
  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo or Equivalent AMD
  • Memory: 2GB
  • Hard Disk Space: 25GB
  • Video Card: GeForce 8800, Radeon HD 4200

  • OS: Win XP SP3, Vista, Win 7
  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad or Equivalent AMD
  • Memory: 4GB
  • Hard Disk Space: 25GB
  • Video Card: GeForce 9800 GTX, ATI Radeon HD 5550

Not so bad right? Rage looks fantastic so far, but these requirements look even better for PC gamers on a budget.
