Rage is shaping up to be a great game so far, blending fantastic visuals with elements of first person shooting and wasteland racing thrown into the mix. But at its core, Rage still maintains a focus on eviscerating enemies with high powered assault rifles. And it wouldn’t be an Id game if we didn’t have some unique and incredible weapons at our disposal would it?
While there are plenty of the standard guns available, from shotguns to revolvers, its the more exotic weapons like the crossbow and glaive-like Wing-stick that will make combat interesting. With some light RPG elements that revolve around upgrading and building your own weapons, as well as weapon collecting that is timed to keep the game constantly fresh, Rage looks like a FPS game with loads of content crammed onto its discs.
