Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to Xbox Game Pass on May 7

RDR2

There’s a lot that can be said about Red Dead Redemption 2, a game which is as gorgeous as it is polarising. A sequel to the 2010 sandbox western that was built on controversial crunch conditions within Rockstar Games, the only topic that people will agree on is that it’s a chuffing expensive game to own. Costing the prettiest of pennies, Rockstar’s grand sequel might be too bitter a pill to swallow for anyone feeling a bit cash-strapped lately.

Well good news, because Red Dead Redemption 2 is about to get a whole lot cheaper! Xbox has announced that you’ll be able to saddle up on May 7, when Red Dead Redemption 2 heads to Xbox Game Pass.

  1. Ah the console Game pass only it seems. Was just about say it would be a bit odd if it was on PC as well. The game hasn’t even been out 6 months

The gift that keeps on giving, even when you’ve already bought the damn game ;-p

Seriously though, this service is outstanding but they can get it wrong with installations however as I discovered with F1 2018 and Mother Russia Bleeds (all PC). The former runs like a slide show while the latter crashes my whole system. I downloaded “alternative” versions and they ran perfectly so it’s not the software but an M$ problem. I suspect the latter is running a 32-bit version but F1 I can’t figure out. Also too lazy to do the research.

I have them all in my library but a little scared to install them. Might be a great choice for my Series and Movie catch-up marathons.

        EDIT: WAIT!!! Civ V beckons!

I gave up on F1 too. Kept have momentary lag spikes that sent me flying into walls. DNF

This is crazy. Game pass is truly the best feature to come out this generation.
