Sex sells – Is that a bad thing?

If you haven’t been following it then let me catch you up quick. X-Blade is a mediocre hack and slash game coming to a PS3 and Xbox 360 near you, however the only difference is that this game is so sexually loaded that I guarantee you it will sell well.

But is this a bad thing? Don’t we play games to enjoy ourselves and to take our mind of the day to day stress of life… so is it such a bad thing that instead of selling death, gore or horror that they are selling eye candy for guys instead?

Now don’t get me wrong I don’t agree with treating women like meat or objectifying them, but does this game cause any harm?

Unfortunately the reviews are not positive and in the end you can only look at pretty things for so long before you need more from them.

With an average score of 6 all round it doesn’t look like Ayumi is going to be making a return anytime soon.
