Why sell a billion, when we could sell…six million?

Speaking at their Tokyo Game Show press conference today, Sony President Andrew House said that the current plan was to have  5 million PlayStation 4 consoles sold by the end of the fiscal year according to VG247. Which is March 2014.

That’s a tight window. With the PS4 launching in November, they’d have to push to get close to a million units sold every month. Back in 2007, Sony had higher targets in their line of sight, aiming to sell 6 million PS3 consoles. They only managed to move 3.6 million consoles though.

I’ve got a feeling that they might be more successful this year though. Even if the console does cost around 6300 Randelas, locally.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
