Nintendo Legened, Shigeru Miyamoto, has been discussing the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy 2 with CVG and has mentioned that while the game will be harder than it’s predecessor it will still be easier to control and for the more novice gamers to get into.
According to Miyamoto
“We have to admit that this difficulty level of Galaxy 2 is rather high because it has been made specifically for the people who have finished Galaxy 1. But when it comes to the accessibility – in other words the easiness to control the Mario character – it’s even easier than the original Galaxy 1. It’s fun all the time because we are trying to do something unprecedented and uniqueâ€
Super Mario Galaxy 1 is one of the finest, if not the finest, games to ever land on the Nintendo Wii and the arrival of the sequel is highly anticipated.
This is a guaranteed pre-order and day one purchase for me.

SMG still rates as my favourite game of all time, and this news is nothing but music to my ears. Must admit though, I’m not that keen on playing Yoshi.
