Welcome one and all, to the weekly wrap! Actual meaningful words, after the click! *Not a guarantee.
GTA V just sold $800 million worth of game to people. In one day. Hollywood, in the words of Degeneration X…suck it!
Rest in peace, Hiroshi Yamauchi. The former Nintendo big cheese passed away this week, and he will be missed by friends and family. It’s hard to not see the impact his guiding hand had on Nintendo in the early days of that company breaking into the video game market. And without him at the helm, Nintendo might have never released several consoles and games.
Best ION Header
I still have no idea what the hell Erwinnnnn is going on about when he mentions left to right, but I do know a good ION header when I see it. Which is most likely why there are a bunch of up and down comments going on right now.
What do YOU think about GTA V, Geoff asked this week. Apparently, you guys have lots to say. 247 comments worth of opinion, to be exact.
Sorry Zoe, since you’ll only read this when you land back in the country later today. Or tomorrow. Damn time zones. Batman Arkham Origins may get plenty of comments, but it seems that no one is exactly excited for the handheld version of the game, Arkham Origins: Blackgate. Only three comments. Tsk.
Batman Of The Week
Who has two thumbs, excellent health and knows all the lyrics to Neunundneunzig Luftballons? This guy! With Gavin and Zoe out of the country doing…stuff, the way to Batman was all mine. And I took it from behind. Because I saw an opportunity and I seized it. That’s what winners do!
Best Header Image
Dammit Geoff, no one can troll like you can. One day they’ll erect a statue in honour of you being such a magnificent antagoniser.
Comment Of The Week
Hammerstyn wins this week, because he just pitched an idea for a superhero game that I’d gladly pay cash money for:
Here’s an Idea. A Video game where you play a super villain bent on on world domination. A game where you take up the role of Thanos,Magneto,Darkseid or Apocalypse. Enough with this goody two shoes bullshit.
