The Nintendo Wii has had its quietest year since release, but that doesn’t mean that it hasn’t pumped out some very impressive titles in between all of the shovel-ware that seems to fly its way.
Nintendo are still very keen to show us why they are a leader in this industry, let’s take a look at what they gave us in 2010.
Here are the nominees for best exclusive Nintendo Wii game :
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Red Steel 2
Donkey Kong Country Returns
Batman: The Brave and the Bold
Sin and Punishment 2
And the award goes to:
Winner: Super Mario Galaxy 2
The little italian plumber still hasn’t lost his touch after all of these years. Super Mario Galaxy 2 brought us back to a platforming world that absolutely oozed creativity and fun. Super Mario Galaxy 2 proves once more that Nintendo still have the ability to push their fun titles in directions that we never thought possible.
Runner-Up: Donkey Kong Country Returns

Isn’t it sad that we can’t put Kirby in that list yet :-/

This game really felt like more of an addon to SMG 1 not that I’m complaining though it is still an absolutely awesome game.
Yes Sorry Kirby, maybe next year…

It’s amazing how consistently good Super Mario games are.

I think that’s because Shiggy, despite his perpetually smiling face, will bite your fucking head off if you fuck up a Mario game.

Sin and Punishment 2 lived up to its predecessor more so than any of the other titles (besides the fact that I still need to play my copy of Donkey Kong Country Returns)
