This Live Deus Ex “behind the scenes” will augment your brain with awesome

It seems, from the description in this video that popped up on the internet, that we’re getting a live-action adaption of Deus Ex: Human Revolution – though it will be a short film. It’s credited to Enso Productions, a professional “Action Design Team”. What they do is choreograph and perform the stuns and fight scenes in films. It’s pretty incredible, echoing the production of the live action teasers that made the world sit up and take notice of Deus Ex: Human Revolution in the first place.

It seems, from the production values, equipment and set-ups that it’s probably not a fan made film – although with the ever increasing quality of amateur, fan-created work, it’s not beyond possibility. If I were to guess? It’s a commissioned work by Square/Eidos and hopefully part of an extended web series. If not, it could just end up being on of the year’s best amateur movies.

Editor. I'm old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time - they were capable of being masterpieces. I'm here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.
