Bend over boy

THQ is never far from the news at the moment but I have to admit I didn’t see this one coming. The much anticipated DLC pack for Saints Row 3, Enter the Dominatrix, has been cancelled… well not exactly cancelled but rather moved from being a cheap cash in to being a full title of its own.

According to THQ’s president, Jason Rubin, he was looking at the DLC expansion pack and

“was blown away by the ideas and desire to expand the fiction of the franchise”

He then had a chat with the team to hear what they could do with more resources and time and in the end they’ve decided that’s the game they all really want to release and as such, Saints Row the 4th was conceived.

In short the DLC will no longer release this September; THQ are going to take an expected $20 million knock on this years finances on the gamble that this DLC can be expanded into being a full fledged title of its own for release next year.
