This took it’s time and I was really starting to think that the game wasn’t actually going to get published.
To give you the story in a nutshell. Activision was making it, they merged with Blizzard and canned the project. Then the rumours went mad and eventually we all decided the game was doomed to never exist.
And now Atari has stepped up to the plate and saved the day. Ghostbusters is once again going to be making appearance on 6 different platforms.
The game will arrive on PC, PSP, Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo DS sometime in 2009 to mark the 25th anniversary of Ghostbusters, to celebrate the anniversary Sony will be releasing Ghostbusters 1 and 2 on Blu-Ray as well which makes for a bumper PS3 celebration.
