We reported that the Wii MotionPlus could be delayed, some news that came our way thanks to a recent IGN podcast. Not so according to Nintendo! The add-on motion sensing peripheral which is intended to increase Wii-mote accuracy and its pack-in title Wii Sports Resort were originally expected release this autumn, but appears to have been best with technical difficulties.
Delayed? Not according to a Nintendo rep who vociferously denies any sort of delay.
How? "No date was ever announced for MotionPlus — so technically it can’t be delayed"
Sounds like Nintendo are starting to take a few pages from Valve’s book, the cheeky sods.
